Pratima Singh (born February 6, 1990) is an Indian professional Basketball player from Varanasi (India). In fact, she is a member of the National Basketball team.
She comes from the family of renowned basketball players. Pratima is also popular as the wife of Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma. Apart from that, she started playing basketball in 2003.
She took her basketball training from Udai Partap College, Uttar Pradesh. She represented as the captain of Junior Girls Basketball team from 2006 to 2008.
During that time, she won various medals for the team. In the University of Delhi, she has won Best Player titles. However, she has suffered from the knee injury.
She made a return by winning gold in FIBA Asia Championship. In addition to this, she has become the highest scorer in all tournaments of 2012.
The Jesus and Mary College honored her as the Sportswoman of the Year (2008-09). She also received Shri Prakash Award.
